Multi blade impeller and chopper design is for better floating and tumbling of material for dry & wet mixing; it forms a uniform wet granules. HIgh Shear Granulator is a multi-purpose processer equally suitable for high speed dispersion of dry powders, aqueous or solvent granulation, and effervescent products and melt pelletization. Wet granulation is a common step in the manufacture of many solid dosage pharmaceuticals. Wet granulation can be accomplished in a high shear granulator.A mechanical impeller moves the powder while a liquid binder is applied onto a moving powder bed. Addition of the liquid binder starts the formation of granules. The granulator also has a chopper. Impeller and chopper are mainly responsible for wet granulation in the rapid mixer granulator.

This machine is equiped with an oscillating rotor suitable to manufacturer wet granulates of varius granule sizes. Sieves are easily exchangable. rotor , sieve and all parts coming in to contect with the material are constructed of stainless steel.Each apparatus is supplied with one sieve each of 1.0 and 1.6 mm mesh size. The capacity of the machine depands of the material and the mesh sizes of the sieve and is maximum 25-30 kg per hour.

Rapidmixer and wet granulator is a very precision machine performing dry mixing and wet granulation in the same bowl only in 6-12 minutes. The entire operation is fully automatic including the discharge. All parts coming in contact with the material to be mixed are made of stainless steel and are highly polished. Drive motors and elecrtic control gear mounted on the machine can be flame proof. In such case separate control pane will be located in a low risk area. The machine is available in 10 different sizes from 10 litres to 1200 litres. Select the size of the machine according to your batch size. For 400 lts capacity model vessel overflow capacity level is 400 lts, working volume is 80% of 400 lts = 320 lts. Assuming the bulk density at 0.5, one can take a batch of 160 kg of wet mass. in a 400 lts capacity model.

The capacity of the machine depends on the material and the mesh sizes of the sieve and is maximum 20-25 Kg*. per hour. The wet granulator is suitable for screwing on main Motor drive. The output depends on the material and the mesh size of the screen.
