In case of Coal fired boilers DEMECH system requires less water thereby saving water and also needs lesser headroom below the furnace. The hot Economizer Ash and the Pyrite rejects (coal mill rejects) can also be discharged to the SSC installed for handling Bottom Ash, in turn saving of a problematic separate system for these materials.
