the non-rotating float collar is attached to the end of the casing string and they are used to stop slurry from flowing back. Material inside is easily drillable; the anti-rotation mechanism on the top improves drill-out performance. The valve consists of rubber and polymer materials with high tensile strength. Single or double valves are available.

Oilmec offers five primary styles of stop collars to keep centralizers and other casing attachments in the desired position on the casing. Both hinged and slip-on styles are available.

A float collar is installed near the bottom of the casing string. Cement plugs land on it during the primary cementing operation, thus retaining inside the casing a small portion of the cement slurry that may have become contaminated as the top plug scrapes the inside of the casing.
