Presto Digital Moisture Meter is used for every Textile material, irrespective of its form (i.e., Fiber, Yarn, and Fabric). All textile materials contain water, which is expressed in terms of moisture percentage. Wool has got the highest moisture content and synthetic fibers contain the lowest moisture content. It is based on the principle - moisture content is determined by measuring the electrical conductivity of the material, which always is proportional to the content of the moisture. Digital moisture testers are used to measure moisture content of textile & yarns samples quickly & effectively. Digital Moisture Meter measures moisture by sensing the electrical resistance of the hygroscopic material. The section of sensor depends upon the form of the material.
