This machine is used to paste or bond pre-molded plastic discs (end caps) to the filter media by application of heat and pneumatic pressure. The pre-molded plastic disc is softened on a table top die by applying heat to it through a retractable heater (actuated through a pneumatic cylinder kept underneath the table) for a pre-set time of about 5 – 10 seconds. Thereafter the filter media is put over the disc and a pressure is applied from the top through pneumatic cylinder for bonding of the end disc/cap with the filter media.   The salient features of this machine are: Provided with double pasting heads so that at a time both the top and bottom plastic discs can be bonded to the pleated media at either of the stations. Movement of the top Pressurizing Plate is through Pneumatic Cylinders Bottom disc holding die heads are fixed and are insulated to prevent heat loss. Pneumatic system is complete with all the regulating arrangements like Pressure Regulator, Pressure Gauge, Safety Valve, FRL unit with Air Release Valve etc. The heating cycle, temperature, timing and movement of the cylinders are all controlled through smart PLC based system. Provided with smart touch screen-HMI Control Panel. Standard table size is 610mm (L) x 700mm (W) x 750mm (H). However this size can vary based on customer requirement.
