Designing of the rolls start with a flower pattern, this is a sequence of profile cross-sections, one for each stand of rolls. The roll contours are then derived from profile contours. We use the simulation process to validate the designed rolls & optimize the forming process & material stresses in the final product. Special steel grade rolls & tungsten carbide rolls are offered where surface finish of parent material is of high quality. These rolls offer better wear quality, longer life and are used in areas where absence of marking is critical. We also offer special grades for welding rolls, due to their non-magnetic properties.
