Humidity Chamber made of cubical shape, the inner body of the chamber made of Stainless Steel, there is a Stainless Steel water tank at the bottom of the chamber, an immersed heater is fitted to the tank for making Humidity. There are two wire mesh tray are also fitted to the chamber, the tray are removable, the test specimen are hold by the trays. There is a hinged door on the front of the instrument; a glass window is fitted to the hinged door. The outer body is made of Mild Steel duly powder coated to give it a corrosion resistant long life. There is a control panel on which digital Humidity Controller, a Digital Temperature and Switches for cooling, heating, humidity and mains are mounted. The cooling is done by Compressor and heating is done by Heaters. The Temperature Sensor and Humidity Sensor are fitted within the chamber.

The Presto salt spray chamber is the most reliable equipment for checking the corrosion resistance of surface coatings when exposed to a salt laden environment. This time-tested product has been specifically designed to assess the rust-proof ability of components to withstand corrosion due to atmospheric conditions. It provides complete flexibility in simulation of real life weathering conditions. The test temperature in the chamber is user adjustable from ambient to +45°C and is controlled by a PLC controlled PID. The touch screen installed in the Presto salt spray chamber is a powerful tool that eases the analysis of corrosion resistance for a wide variety of sample types. A special zero corrosion PT 100 sensor is incorporated in the touch screen. It also has 8 function keys, a 3M flash memory and provides a USB host for a USB flash drive. The Presto salt spray chamber is double walled and is fitted with a glass wool insulation, which ensures that the results are accurate and reliable enough to meet the international standard of testing. The chamber incorporates the latest technology including an Air Flow Meter which regulates the air flow from 0 to 30 psi. It is also equipped with an air jacket heating system which ensures uniformity and reliability. This testing equipment is particularly useful in quality control laboratories, where they are used for comparative sea salt spray test. A see-through cover optimizes test observation by providing continuous direct visual observation of the test item.

Plating on a product is done to save a product from rust and to enhance its life. To test the quality of plating that enhances the life of a product, salt spray chambers are introduced. The testing apparatus is designed and manufactured as per standard test methods to identify the effectiveness of resistive properties of a material against rust under different climatic conditions. Salt Spray Chamber Korrox III comprises of a touch screen temperature control panel on the right side of the instrument which helps the user to set the desired temperature easily. The cabinet of the instrument is designed with double walled reinforced fiber plastic duly filled with glass wool insulation. This insulation protects the chamber from corrosive environment which is created in the chamber to test the specimen. The testing instrument is provided with some standard accessories like air purging, cyclic timer, regulator, gauges, time totaliser and racks to place the specimens. The lab testing equipment complies with ASTM B117; IS: 6910; JIS Z2371; IS: 5528; DIN50021; ISO 3768.
