Uncoilers are very robust equipment to continuously pay off strip material at very high speeds. They are Single/Double expanding mandrel types depending upon the size of coils. These equipment are designed to feed coils up to max. 500 M/min suiting the accumulator fill speeds maintaining a tension using sophisticated braking system. The equipment can be fully automatic or push button controlled depending upon line specifications. Usually swivel type double mandrel uncoilers are recommended for coil weights up to 10 MT. coil openers are designed to open the coil from both top and bottom. They comprise of driven Snubber rolls and peeler blades. Uncoilers use various type of coil supports to avoid top layers falling off.

These machines point the ends of the tubes which are clamped in Draw Benches for pulling the tubes through the drawing dies and plugs. Unlike other methods of pointing here the tube elongates thus allowing a considerable material saving. The points are concentric and straight and the length can be infinitely variable depending upon the pulling force of the Draw Bench. At the shoulder, the point thickens, hence it is very strong and rarely breaks during drawing, improving draw bench yields. The machines are available for variety of tubes both ferrous and non ferrous . The machines for non ferrous are 4, 6 or 8 die to produce a very small point adequate to impart heavy reductions during drawing .

Located at the entry of the line. This unit has an important function of quickly loading the Coils over the Uncoiler Mandrel. Depending upon the size of the line, Coil Cars can be of various capacities. They can be fully automatic or push button controlled. In case of Tube Mills with high speeds, coil cars with pusher & ramps can be offered with coil cars loaded with multiple coils.
