A hot air oven is widely used  lab testing instrument that is used for sterilization of tools and equipment used in different laboratories. It uses dry heat for the purpose of cleansing. The hot air oven works on electrical supply and is provided with a fan that ensures that there is a uniform flow of heat and hot air inside the chamber. Normally, the requirement of temperature for the best level of sterilization is 1600C/hr.
