For MS wires retort assembly is sand sealed (binding wires) or vacuum sealed for scale free annealing of wires to be used for electro galvanizing. For alloy steel wire coils are processed under vacuum and inert atmosphere to prevent decarburization. For copper wires retort assembly is vacuum sealed. Retort assembly with circular fan is used for High-perm decarburization of electrical stampings. The furnace is constructed using various grades of ceramic fiber blankets and refractories, The pot is fabricated using dished bottom for improved mechanical strength.
