Powder recovery booth :Multicyclone type of booth consists of a coating chamber, multicyclone with blower, motor & bin. Each part of the booth is designed considering its importance in the system. The purpose of each component is different which should be considered from all angles. Chamber : The chamber is having panel type construction, square in shape made up of 1.2 mm GI sheet. For better life, these are pre-treated & Powder Coated. For better visibility, it is coated by white colour from inside & by green from outside. Chamber bottom is slopping in shape. So powder collection is easy. To suck the powder, at the bottom there is canopy & a loose 'C' channel which sticks to the side wall when blower is on. Multicyclone : This consists of the cluster of very small cyclones which are less in diameters & height. The Powder sucked from the chamber gets distributed in to each small cyclone. Due to small diameter & very high air velocity, maximum powder moves along the periphery of cyclone. As each small cyclone handles small amount of powder, the efficiency of complete multicyclone is as high as 98.5%. Due to such high efficiency maximum powder is saved & so cost of the booth is recovered within very less time. Bin : For Powder recovery a conical bin is designed to be attached below multicyclone. To remove the bin with powder, a separate trolley is given below the bin. Ductless Construction : In between multicyclone & chamber there is no separate duct piece with bends. There is no nut bolting construction which is very very tedious for colour change & takes lot of time. As a duct there is just a loose 'C' channel. So this booth is very easy for cleaning. Saving time and labor. Material Handling : For article loading & handling we give overhead track & loose trolley type system. There can be number of trolleys which are not interlinked & can be moved independently, just by pushing or pulling the article hooked Illumination : Chamber is provided with enough tube lights for better visibility. Safety : At the side of chamber loose flap in given for safety. This also helps for cleaning. Optional- Integration : The bin can be used as a bin cum hopper & powder can be fed directly to spray gun. When bin is used for this purpose a fluidization tile is attached at the bottom & powder suction control block can be mounted on the bottom plate (Cover for bin) of multicyclone. Different Models :Depending upon size of the article, coating requirements, material handling requirements we have designed some standard models. As a special requirement different customized models are also developed. Powder Coating Booth - IN-I : In this booth article loading will be on overhead track & loose trolley & only from front side. Normally this is suitable for small component like clutch lever, Oil/ Air filters, Kitchen trolley, small washing machine, Water filter etc. Booth bottom is sloping, so powder collection is easy. Powder Coating booth - IN-IA : It has a wider front cutout with the specification as mentioned in IN -I. Powder coating booth - IN-IB : This is a smallest booth in the series & most suitable when fast colour change is required. Chamber is very small to clean & it can be given on wheels. Many chambers can be used for dedicated colours & it is easy to move. It is suitable for fan blade like article. It can be also used for trial, training purpose. Booth has very small chamber can be used for Laboratory purpose. Powder Coating Booth - IN-II : This booth is having side doors & article holding track entry & exit is also from side through doors. By this way material handling is systematic i.e. from one side entry, coating & then exit from other side. Medium size front cut out .side loading facilities. In exceptional case, if article is very long then a door can be kept open & coating is done step by step by moving article slowly. In this case recovery will be reduced. Powder coating - IN-II A : Side door is split into two pieces & a small slit remains open continuously. Long article like Aluminum channels can be inserted through this slit & coated step by step by continuous movement. This can be also used for bigger article by opening doors. (If door is kept open then efficiency will be reduced, but at least coating can be done) Specially made for Aluminum Channels. Slit remains constantly open even after closing side doors. Powder Coating Booth - IN-II B : It comprises of a continuous side opening. It is suitable for conveyorised plant. Powder coating Booth - II C : Bigger continuous side opening. Can be used for conveyorised plant with large articles. Powder coating Booth - IN-II D : This model is especially suitable for aluminum channels or any longer article. Specialty is, this chamber is having two doors on opposite side (In front of each other) All channels on jig can be coated from one side while it's pushed from one side to other. While coating from other side, earlier door should be closed, opposite side door to be opened to coat from back side. Article can be coated from both sides easily avoiding turning of longer article outside the booth. In side door a narrow slit can be given on demand. 2 operator cutouts, opposite to each others with doors. Both sides for the article can be used without reversing. Powder coating Booth - IN-II E : Especially utilized for cupboards. Article can be loaded in the booth after mounting on trolley. Powder coating Booth - IN-II G : Big front cutout. As well as side cutout. Powder coating Booth IN-III : Booth has sliding doors from both sides Powder coating booth IN-IIIA : Large & heavy article- Big panels, Valves weight more-say around 100 kg/ trolley -261 type weight very high- say more than 150 kg/trolley -262 type. Coating process - Coat from front side, by sliding doors one by one. Then backside can be coated same way. Advantage - Even if article is very big, only one small door remains open at a time. So power required is very less. After coating, article is moved by track & loose trolley just by hook. (Without touching the article) Its very easy. No fear of touching the article while holding it.
