Salt Spray Chamber – Korrox III is a touch screen model. It is a very useful laboratory instrument which is used to determine the resistance of materials to corrosion and the effects of other environmental factors on a material before commencing the manufacturing procedure to produce best quality product. Plating on a product is done to save a product from rust and to enhance its life. To test the quality of plating that enhances the life of a product, salt spray chambers are introduced. The testing apparatus is designed and manufactured as per standard test methods to  identify the effectiveness of resistive properties of a material against rust under different climatic conditions. Other models of Salt Spray Chamber are also available - CASS cum salt spray chamber and Salt Spray Eco model with customized specifications.   Salt Spray Chamber Korrox III comprises of a touch screen temperature control panel on the right side of the instrument  which helps the user to set the desired temperature easily. The cabinet of the instrument is designed with double walled reinforced fiber plastic  duly filled with  glass wool insulation. This insulation protects the chamber from corrosive environment which is created in the chamber to test the specimen.  The testing instrument is provided with some standard accessories like air purging, cyclic timer, regulator, gauges, time totaliser and racks to place the specimens. The lab testing equipment complies with ASTM B117; IS: 6910; JIS Z2371; IS: 5528; DIN50021; ISO 3768.   Features:   The chamber of the machine has a double wall and has glass wool insulation so that any deformation could be resisted. There is a jar placed outside the machine for the collection of the salt solution. A high pressure drum is also provided with the machine. The pressure that comes with the instrument has a range of 0 to 30 PSI and has an air regulator along with an air filter. Comes with a digital controller for temperature.
