These Fabric Phenolics Laminated sheets are made from finely woven cotton FABRIC as a filler material and customised phenol formaldehyde resin as a bonding medium. These are graded accordingly to coarseness of cloth and electrical properties. GRADE : CHARACTERISTICS and APPLICATION E-F2 : General purpose laminate with good machinability and mechanical strength. Excellent strength to weight ratio. It has good chemical resistance. APPLICATION : Shuttles, gears, pulleys, automobile couplings, structural parts, low-voltag Contact breaker, friction plates,etc. This Grade F2 material is manufactured as per IS-2036 of 1995.
