Allow the edge reading of any kind of material these are perfectly interchangeable depending on the needs of the moment. The SU-M25 ultrasound version has a small size and a high degree of IP protection, which makes it suitable to use in dusty environments or in presence of liquids.

The U series is the most widely used version, supported by 2 ball bearings and available with graphite (for filtered air and water) or silicon carbide (for oil and water) seals. Available in one or two way versions and sizes ranging from ¼” to 2½”.

TM MECHANICAL CHUCKS These heads are available for diameters ranging from 3” to 12”, in mono- and bidiametral versions. The monodiametral versions are available with a central hole for centring the reel, or a flange for ejecting the core.

Tension regulator with two operating modes: torque regulation on winders and unwinders, and speed tension regulation. Can be used with load cells or dancing rollers. Standard version complete with setpoint option.

The couplings are indispensable when it is necessary to use reels with cores that are a different size to those normally used for production. The couplings or adaptors can be used to adapt the existing shaft to the core of the reel to be processed (from 3” to 12”) rather than produce a new expanding shaft.

Manually or pneumatically operated callipers (positive and negative), can be used to obtain high braking torque and are ideal for emergency braking on any machine used for processing material on reels. A cheap and simple solution, even for the most outdated machines.

The rotating heads exploit the reel movement in order to block and centre it; this system can be used to reduce damage to the cardboard cores so that they can be re-used. Available from 3” to 12”.

The R series is the most widely used solution for transferring the working pressure to pneumatic clutches and expanding shafts. Suitable for use at high speed, they rotate on two ball bearings. Available in sizes ranging from 1/8” to 1”.

Amplifiers for microprocessor controlled digital load cells, with a special HW/SW configuration that reduces signal processing time. They require a 24Vdc power supply, and feature cell inputs that can be set to mV or 4-20 mA, and digital and analogue outputs.

OPTO-ELECTRONIC SENSOR TL.01 It is able to read differences slights by detecting printed lines, contrasts and edges of printed material lines, even if these are discontinuous. This can be used on any surface, including transparent or metallic. Easy to install and there is no need for further adjustment in the exchange of the material.

The N series is supported by 2 carbon-graphite bearings, suitable for use with steam, water and diathermic oils at temperatures of up to 316°C. The treated carbon-graphite is suitable for spherical sealing; the seal is perfect and maintenance is quick and easy. Available in sizes ranging from ¼” to 3”.

The MEGA regulator is ideal for applications on machines that use dancing rollers and electromagnetic powder brakes, but may also be used with pneumatic brakes, winder and unwinder motors and amplified load cells.

The MX 16.3 chuck is equipped with a pneumo-mechanical mechanism. Using the air pressure, a cone expands the keys mechanically in order to lock the reel core in place. The chuck is small but robust and can support reels of up to 2000 Kg (the pair). The basic version is expandable and can be used with 70 and 3” cores. There are a number of mechanical adaptors available for larger cores, by simply inserting them on its body the MX 16 chuch can used to block 4”, 5” and 6” cores. These chucks can be mounted on shaftless winders and unwinders.

Available in two versions, with feet or flange, and chuck (SVP/SVF series) or slide (SAP/SAF series) opening; maximum reel weight 1600 kg. Interchangeable inserts available in a range of shapes and sizes, including customer’s specifications.

Flange load cells, the most widely known and frequently used on converting machines, are available in a number of models, available loads range from 50 up to 25000 N. The output is available as a voltage in mV or a current 4 – 20 mA. CF represents the fastest and cheapest system for measuring and checking the tension of laminates.

The ELEFLEX series of electro-magnetic powder brakes range from the smallest B.121 to the largest B.5000. They can all be fitted with either a fan or a radiator and guarantee precise torque control. We have been manufacturing this reliable product for over 20 years and continue to develop new solutions in order to improve its performance, guaranteeing even lower residual torque for critical applications or where the working tensions are very low. Nominal torque from 12 Nm to 500 Nm.

Electro-pneumatic converter that converts the electrical signal to compressed air at a pressure proportional to the supply signal in V. Its small size means that it can easily be fitted close to the brake or clutch it is connected to.

Their small size means that it is possible to install one or more calliper in order to obtain the desired braking torque, there are two available versions; Positive for small and medium power braking or fast stop braking negative for safety and emergency braking.

Pneumatic brakes with high heat dissipation. Available with 250 mm and 300 mm disks, they guarantee up to 1520 Nm of torque and 6 kW of available power.

Disc cluthes and brakes , with a modular calliper system, 0.75 to 4620 Nm of torque,and up to 15 kw of available poswer. These brakes are the ideal solution for large scale and high speed reels.

Base load cells, ideal for heavy duty applications and high web tensions, such as paper machines, supercalenders and rolling mills. The available loads range from 150 to 30.000 N, the output is available as a voltage in mV or a current 4 – 20 mA. They are easy to use, even if the machine is already in use.

The SAF/SAP series is also available with axial deflection for more precise positioning on the reel. They have a travel of +/- 25 mm and can be supplied with fixtures that accept Re brakes.
