Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd. which is an Indo-Italian joint venture Company.     Rotomotive motors are built according to international standard regulations; each size throughout the construction forms is calculated with reference to the tables of standard IEC 72-1. The shapes built per IEC 34-7, are B3, B5, B14, B35. Rotomotive asynchronous three-phase Delphi series motors are closed, and externally ventilated. All wheels are profile ground to Din 3962 class 6 accuracy for low noise and high efficiency. Shafts are made from 42CrMo4 steel and tempered to reach a hardness of 23-35 HRC, thus increasing their capacity to withstand shearing stresses.   If the mechanical robustness and the service factor of an helical gearbox are mainly influenced by the centres distance of the last stage, Robus confirms to be very robust. Single stages ratios between 2 and 6, together with proper gears sizes, result mathematically in higher teeth number and size (module) of each wheel and a better fractioned load among the reduction stages. That influences both durabilty and torque transmission capability. Dual bearing support on the input shaft assures precise alignment of the first stage gears and reduces vibrations and consequent gear wear. Intermediate shaft is rigidly supported by 3 bearings, with no overhang wheel, thus imparting greater flexural strengh and better meshing. This increases the overloading capacity and takes to lower noise. Smaller overhang distance of output shaft from supporting bearing in order to withstand higher radial loads. Abounding bearings size, in order to withstand higher loads.    

Normally to power a conveyor belt, one has to use the conventional drive which comprises of head pulley which has to be coupled to a gearbox and the gearbox in turn has to be coupled to a motor and then there are other accessories like guard, chains, plumber blocks etc. Instead of this elaborate system, a drum motor can be put in place of the head pulley, and powered up.

We are supplying Box Series Worm Gear Boxes of M/s. Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd. which is an Indo-Italian joint ventureCompany.   The new patented “BOX” series of worm gear units is made with die-casting aluminium housing from size 25 up to 90, and in cast iron for the size 110. loads. The housing has been designed with parametric three-dimensional CAD SW supported by programs of analysis of the thermal dissipation capacity and the structural resistance/deformation under the effect of working loads. In order to increase silence, efficiency and duration, the wormshaft is made in case hardened steel and ground machined, while the worm wheel is in shell cast bronze. Before being assembled, the worm wheel is submitted to a running-in working period to improve the surface finishing and hardness. From type 63 and up, 2 taper roller bearings are mounted on the wormshaft, improving the mechanical resistance to the axial loads given by the wormwheel. Moreover, the combination of this characteristic and 2 nilos (mounted on the unit sizes 75 up to 110 to keep lubrication grease inside the bearings even when they are not touched by the oil bath), permits the mounting of the whole BOX range, from the size 25 to the size 110, in the positions V5 and V6 without any need of additional interventions.   The gear unit is equipped with a full set of filler, level and breather plugs, permitting all mounting positions and facilitating the management of the stock. A paint coat cancels the negative effects of the aluminium porosity and protects the housing from oxidation patented.
