Durga metal works is a professionally managed company established in the year -1985 for manufacturing and supply of tin containers today its production capacity is 7,40000 per annum. Its major customers are leading food item giants like vrs foods ltd(paras), bharat agro oils pvt. Ltd. (dalda), harbans lal foods pvt. Ltd (padam shri), kirpa ram dairy pvt. Ltd., bhojpur. the company has decided to achieve a quality management system and standardized work procedures and that is why the company has decided to mould & develop its management system as per iso 9001:2008 international standards. We have identified the basic elements of a good management system and have standardized the procedures to incorporate these elements in our management system. The manual in your hand is a result of this effort. It is the master control document of our management system and describes the standard practices to perform critical managerial activities. It contains references to other guiding documents and to prescribed records that are to be maintained to provide database for analysis and follow up action .this master control document, the quality manual (dmw/qm/01) has inbuilt flexibility and this document has to be used, not as a document which restricts activities but as a document which canalizes up gradations and innovations in managerial practices.
