Comprising of horizontal cylindrical shell with suitable ends, slow speedpaddle agitator is designed for mixing, drying, discharging the products. This is used for making dry powder from wet cakes or slurries, in batch type operation often under vacuum. Product is heated from outside through shell ends and from inside throughshaft� paddles, by means of steam or hot oil. Product filter, condenser, receiver and vacuum system are part of drying operation. Optional mechanical chopper cum deagglomerator can be provided forbreaking lumps formed while drying.

Rotary Cascade Dryers is most suited for drying and cooling of refined sugar/raw sugar. Rotary Cascade Dryers consist of log rotating drum supported on guide rollers. In our Rotary Cascade Dryers, wet sugar is delivered to the drying zone via a feed chute to helical vanes which rapidly transfers the sugar from this section to sawtooth type of lifters fitted throughout the drying and cooling zone. In our Rotary Cascade Dryers, sugar is lifted from the bed and produce a cascade of falling sugar as the dynamic angle of repose is reached in each lifter during rotation of the drier/cooler. The final dried sugar in contact with ambient/conditioned air exit is the cooling zone via a combined material discharge and air inlet hood. The exhaust air containing the fines is passed through a ventury type of wet scrubber connected to an exhaust fan and sweet water thus generated is returned to the process.
