PSA Oxygen Gas Generator
Our oxygen gas generators work with PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology. Using this technology, we produce oxygen gas generators that are low on maintenance, and highly economical while they produce the desired results in a hassle-free manner. These generators absorb nitrogen with the help of two absorption vessels filled with zeolite molecular sieves responsible for nitrogen absorption. Air is taken from an air compressor and oxygen is separated form other gases, including nitrogen with the help of special grade of zeolite molecular sieves. The process involves two towers filled with zeolite molecular sieves which adsorb nitrogen and subsequently discharge waste. In Gas Generation Process the oxygen generated is 85-94% pure. When nitrogen saturates from one tower, this process changes over to the other tower, thus helping in the process of continuous oxygen generation.

Endothermic atmospheres are used principally in the heat treatment of carbon steels and may be slightly carburizing to low carbon steels. These atmospheres have sufficient reducing constituent to prevent effectively any oxidation of the material being processed. They are substantially neutral to carbon steels. Endothermic gas is produced by the reaction of an air-gas mixture ranging from 25 to 40 % of perfect combustion. Since reaction in this range is endothermic, it is necessary to supply external heat.

Heat Reactivated dryers are used when one needs compressed air of very low Dew point of (-)60oC or (-)80o Deg C. In this design, the desiccant is regenerated at higher temperature, along with small quantity of Dry air purge. Due to purging with Dry air and thermal regeneration, residual moisture loading on desiccant becomes low and this gives very low Dew point. The Drying unit has 2-vessels filled with Activated Alumina or Molecular sieves desiccant.

This method generates hydrogen through Electrolysis (bipolar type) along with gas boosters and de-oxo units. Electrolysis dissociates the elements of water (oxygen and hydrogen) by charging water with electrical current. The amount of power consumed by these plants is 4.5 KW (per cubic meter of hydrogen). The hydrogen obtained is collected in a hydrogen gas holder and is further used for processing. Though hydrogen obtained through electrolysis is 99.8% pure, the use of de-oxo units helps in purifying it further (up to 99.999%).
