Spacechem is approved by RDSO for fabrication of steel girders for bridges. Manufacturing shops of Spacechem at Ghaziabad are inspected and approved by RDSO based on the latest manufacturing equipment, fabrication shop, testing facilities, QAP, trained manpower, etc for Steel Bridge Girder Fabrication. Manufacturing facilities are as given in STR (Schedule of Technical requirements) issued by RDSO. Railway contractors of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) are sourcing their fabricated steel bridge girders, beams and boxes from Spacechem as RDSO is supposed to inspect the fabrication of all open web girders and first 1000 MT of plate girders for any vendor. RDSO shall continue to inspect girders as both external sources and internal sources are to be stabilized.

ROBS Construction
Spacechem is Indian Railway contractor for Rail-Road over bridges (ROBS) construction using heavy steel girders. Steel over bridge girders are fabricated as per the tender specifications and site requirements Railway’s. Spacechem automatic plants are approved by RDSO for plate fabricated beams, boxes and girders of jumbo sizes spread over 30,000 square meters of industrial sheds and yards. Each shop is equipped with modern industrial sheds with number of over head cranes upto 50 tones lifting capacity, automatic plate cutting, assembling, robotic submerge arc welding, blasting, painting, finishing and quality testing equipments. Spacechem is executing two site projects of Road Over Bridges awarded by Northern Railway in UP as a contractor for civil and steel structure works.
