We are a well-known Turmeric Powder (Haldi in India) Manufacturer and Supplier in India. Turmeric comes from the root Curcuma Longa. The Turmeric Powder is very famous because of its herbal nature and can also be used as a spice. Turmeric Powder is one of the key ingredients for many Indian, Persian and Thai dishes, such as in curry and many more. Ancient Indian medicine, Ayurveda, has recommended Turmeric Powders use in food for its medicinal value, much of which is now being researched in the modern day. Turmeric Powder is used to flavor and color foodstuffs. Turmeric oleoresin is used in brine pickles and to some extent in mayonnaise and relish formulations, non-alcoholic beverages, gelatins, butter and cheese, etc. The color curcuma extracted from turmeric is used as colorants. Turmeric Powder is also used as a dye in Textile industry. Turmeric Powder is used in the preparation of medicinal oils, ointments, and poultice. Turmeric Powder is stomachic, carminative, tonic, blood purifier and an antiseptic. Turmeric Powder is also used in cosmetics. The aqueous extract of Turmeric Powder has biopesticidal properties. In Goa and Dakshina Kannada (Karnataka state, India), turmeric plant leaf is used to prepare special sweet dishes, patoleo, by layering rice flour and coconut-jaggery mixture on the leaf, and then closing and steaming it in a special copper steamer (Goa). In Tamil Nadu, an Indian State, it is called "Manjal", which is extensively used for its aroma, color and as a disinfectant. How We Make The Turmeric Powder? We boil the root of the Curcuma Longa for 30-45 minutes in a pot filled with fresh water. The boiling procedure is known as curing. The process will make the root softer so we can grind it easily. It will enhance its color and flavor as well. After boiling we need to peel the outer layer of the root and then dry for a week without using direct sunlight so that there should not be any moisture content on the root. Using a hammer, break the dried roots in to multiple pieces and grind it in a grinder. Filter the grinded powder to remove the root chunks and store it in a jar having air tight lid. Maca has been used for centuries by indigenous Andean communities as a source of healing and sustenance, but only recently has it begun to gain popularity in Western diets. It is an herbaceous plant native to the Andean mountains of Peru and Bolivia and it’s one of the only known edible plants in the world to grow at such high altitudes. As an adaptogenic food, maca helps our bodies cope with stress by balancing our delicate endocrine system, and is said to help with fertility issues and hormonal imbalances. Evidence has been found that maca cultivation goes as far back as 1600 B.C. and it remains a staple in the diet of the Quechua Indians of Peru. Besides balancing our hormones, maca is choc full of essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals including B, B1, and B2, as well as iron, magnesium, selenium, and calcium. It’s also a good source of fiber and plant protein, which makes it an ideal addition to smoothies for those looking for a plant-based protein boost. Maca is prized for it’s ability to give strength and increase endurance, and the alkaloids found in maca (called Macainas) assist in endocrine balance.
