  The flare knockout drum requires continuous, accurate level monitoring to keep liquids from reaching the flare and creating a potential fire hazard. For level measurement in the boot of the flare knockout drum, a VEGAMAG 63 provides remote reporting and local visualization. The accuracy of the measurement provided by the VEGAMAG 63 helps the operator determine the liquid level in the drum, recovering water to be sent to the water treatment plant and keeping entrained liquid from reaching the flare. The small size of the VEGAMAG 63 allows it to easily fit within mounting constraints, even when space is limited.
