The ultrasonic parking sensor test rig is an End of Line System developed for final testing of Rear parking sensors developed by NIPPON AUDIOTRONIX India. The Sytstem check all the test parameters of the sensor like Distance, Voltage, Current etc by carefully producing and excitation signal and recording the echoed response of the same using National Instruments Hardware and LABVIEW software meanwhile the Current and voltage parameters are monitored using Digital Multimeters and oscilloscopes. A custom Report for all the tests is generated and saved followed by BARCODE printing for the part.

ASTA Technologies design and manufacture custom test rigs for testing transmission components including gearboxes, drive shafts, differentials and complete transaxles. Transmission test rigs enable functional & durability testing of components and the research of the excitation and noise behavior of transmissions and their components. Specifications  Transmission test rig is for the performance and quality assurance testing for Transmission on the production line.  It involves a development of testing system of transmission for different online test RPM ratio test, Direction Test, Vibration Test and Run in Test.  Drive motor is mounted on X direction adjustable system through hydraulic Actuator.  The system is with NAS 9 Oil filtration system and inline torque and RPM measurement system.  The Testing software and system is designed on NI LabVIEW software and real time hardware.  The LH, RH Brakes and Differential Lock are actuated through pneumatic actuators during the testing.  The PTO Lever efforts are also tested through load cell attached to the pneumatic actuated arm.

 A Test Bench to hold Pump, Control Valves, Piping and other instrumentation as per requirement.      A power pack which will work as prime mover for the system.          a. Flow meter’s to measure the flow as per schematic. A Loading Valve to load the Pump. The Pump Test rig has been designed to demonstrate the operating characteristics of a series of different pumps. A self contained pump test rig, containing all the services and instrumentation for determining the characteristic curves of different pumps at different speeds. ASTA Technologies design and manufacture high precision linear motion Pinion preload machine to preload the nut pinion arrangement in the differential housing with dual servo motor synchronization using torque sensors as monitoring parameter. Preload system cancels the backlash between differential components and pinion. On this machine the preload torque of the pinions can be adjusted using torque sensors. One of the Pinion Pre-load machine is installed at Carraro, Pune. Specifications  The project includes the design, concept building & development of two Assembly machines for the Driveline differential of an earth-moving vehicle.  One machine preloads the nut pinion arrangement in the differential housing with the two servo motor synchronization with the torque sensor as monitoring parameter.  Hardware used : PCI cards, LabVIEW 8.5 software, Torque sensors, encoders and servo.  Motors were used for this machine development.

This machine performs endurance testing on JCB's brake pedal. It applies controlled load on brake pedal for "n" number of cycle followed by an imapact cycle max load. While monitoring parameters like brake displacement & brake angle. NAS 9 Hydraulic Filtration System   Hydraulic Oil Filtration system with common off-line oil filtration comes with Oil heating and heat exchanger system. The main Filtration system comprises of following sub systems.  Oil Conditioning system.  Oil filling system.  Oil flushing system.  Oil draining system.  Oil Collection system. Specifications Oil Conditioning System : Suitable oil conditioning system to achieve required level of purification and temperature shall be designed as referred in the hydraulic circuit of this document. An offline conditioning system, which includes oil pump, heating unit, oil filters and necessary instrumentation shall be part of this supply. The proposed system shall achieve required level of purification (NAS 9) and temperature (Max. 70.C) within the acceptable level of Tolerances. Oil Filling System : Appropriate hydraulic connection shall be made with test transmission. Manually, conditioned and metered oil from clean oil compartment of the reservoir shall be pumped in to the test unit oil supply port. After completion of testing, operator shall remove the QD from the test transmission and park the QD at designated place. Oil Flushing System : After initial filling of the metered quantity, oil circulation shall begin thru appropriate oil supply and drain ports. During the entire time of the performance study, respective oil pump shall circulate the oil within the test component. Oil Draining System : After completion of performance test, drain pump shall drain the oil from the drain port of the test component and shall transfer the oil into dirty compartment of the filtration system. Oil Collection System : An oil collection tray shall be provided beneath pallet assembly so as to collect the spilled oil from test transmission if any. A pump Periodically shall pump the collected oil into dirty compartment of the Filtration system.

ASTA Technologies design and manufacture high precision backlash setting machine for eliminating backlash in differential. This machine provides precise method to move the crown and pinning through a NUT assembly. A precision encoder is mounted with pneumatic Collet arrangement to measure the backlash. One of the backlash setting machine is installed at Carraro, Pune. Specifications  The project includes the design, concept building & development of Assembly Machine for the Driveline differential of an earth-moving vehicle.  After setting the preload and arranging the crown and bevel in the differential housing sets the desired backlash.  The backlash setting procedures includes the movement and fixing of the crown and pinion contact through a NUT assembly.  The backlash is measured by locking the differential bush through a pneumatic Collet arrangement and turning the coupled wheels and measuring the backlash through the encoder system.  The backlash of the system can be set and measured at an accuracy of 10 micron.  After Setting the Backlash in the differential, Final preload of the system is set and measured through an inline torque cell.  Hardware used: PCI cards, LabVIEW 8.5 software, Torque sensors, encoders and servo motors were used for this machine development.  The Setting parameters of Backlash and Final Preload value are set from SAD ( network from Pinion Preload Machine), The reports are further saved on SAD.

Automation Fixtures allows you to make your processes faster and more efficient. Specifications  The operator places the pulley in the Guiding fixture on to the ejector plate. While guiding the keyway onto the Go-Gauge by 5mm distance.  The operator presses the start button.  The ram travels and reaches at an intermediate position, just touching the upper surface of the pulley.  The Ram guides and locks the pulley. The total travel is confirmed by the reed switch.  The Go-Gauge then checks the keyway, after the confirmation the NO-GO gauge enters the keyway.  The “OK” confirmation is obtained by the Indicator.  After the checking, the Gauge cylinder retracts.  The Ram returns to the original position.  The operator Removes the pulley after which the Ejector cylinder retracts.  If the Gauging is not proper there will be a red indicator.
