Cable Fault Location and Ground Survey Van (FLAGS™) In absence of CBM, the power or control cable fAYTs without any notice. To find the fault is a very tedious job and requires a lot of tools and combination of tools and expertise to locate the fault in the cable. Precise fault location can save a lot of money and can reduce the down time for the customers and the power could be restored within the shortest possible time. It is important to know, before excavation of any corridor for laying the new cable or any utility pipes, the exact location of the existing cable or utility pipes to avoid any damage and loss of revenue and supply of power or water, gas etc. AYT has the capability to do the Ground Survey to find out such existing utility systems. To provide efficient Fault Location and Ground Survey (FLAGS™), AYT has the latest Cable Fault Location Equipment assembled in a Van which is mobile and can be at customer site. It can find out any kind of Cable Fault. The operators are fully trained to handle such equipments and problems.
