Artisans of Benaras have gained notoriety in weaving silk and brocade home décor. The front side of the cushion covers is made in silk fabric with beautiful woven designs using traditional Indian motifs and patterns. The borders are usually made with more robust brocade fabric. The backside is made with poly cotton fabric as it is an unseen part and poly cotton is also a relatively less delicate fabric. There is an opening in the center of the backside to insert the cushion. The zippered closure is concealed by an overlay of fabric. Above item consists of only covers and not cushions.
