CASE DRI TUNNEL KILN

We offer Tunnel Kiln. DRI Tunnel Kiln was commissioned on 24 November 2011. CASE gave this technology to India and this was also first of its kind in India. The process has been established now after earlier hiccups. The process of Tunnel Kiln uses fines of Iron ore and Coal which are mixed together in specified propotions to eventually make DRI having quality grades of 90% plus metallization. Iron Ore Fines and Coal Fines mixed together are loaded into SiC (Silicon Carbide) beakers which are then loaded onto the cars. The cars are made to pass through the Tunnel kiln. The material goes through a series of Chemical Changes owing to the temeperature and pressures of the kiln. The oxides of iron are reduced to iron as per the above reactions.

CASE Coal Gasifier
We are offering case coal gasifier. These days, coal usage has become widespread among manufacturing industries worldwide. The availability of coal reserves is much higher as compared to oil and gas reserves, which is the major reason behind the increasing use of coal gasification technology. Moreover, the increasing price of petroleum product like diesel, furnace oil, kerosene etc has made coal-firing as primary choice, a relatively less expensive carbon-containing material. Case group understands coal as an excellent material to compete against other fuels more effectively. Therefore, the company offers state-of-art gasification technologies which are more environment-friendly and efficient for a number of industrial applications. Case coal gasifier carbonaceous material undergoes four processes: • 1. Drying & charge pre heat: the producer gas flowing upstream through the reactor dries up the newly injected coal, thus making the next stage (pyrolysis) easier and efficient. • 2. Pyrolysis: sometimes, called de-volatization, the condition occurs when the heated coal releases char and volatile resulting in up to 70% weight loss for coal. The volatiles being light in weight move upwards and the char moves downstream for the next process (reduction). • 3. Reduction: in this step, the char is acted upon by the carbon dioxide and steam generated from the final process of gasification (oxidation). Here the carbon dioxide and steam combines with char to give carbon monoxide and hydrogen. • 4. Oxidation: this is the final step of gasification where the reduced carbon (char) is burnt by blowing controlled air into the reactor. During this process, steam is injected simultaneously so that carbon gets oxidized in the presence of steam to generate carbon dioxide and hydrogen.

Air pollution control systems are of various types. Overall principle consists of sucking the pollutants from all sources first. Then the polluted air is passed through appropriate media. This media can be a bag house which consists of filter material stacked together to dry filter the air.
