It is a cold applied Bitumen Emulsion recommended by Indian Road Congress and approved by The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) for various Road works such as Premix Carpeting, Surface Dressing, Pot Hole Repairing , Prime Coat, Tack Coat Seal Coat & Soil Stabilizing etc. It can be applied in the drizzle when Bitumen cannot be applied directly. It is a readymade product and does not require to be heated. The Product is manufactured from selected grade bitumen which is dispersed into the water in the form of very fine (micron size) particles by means of emulsifying agents. The emulsifier acts as a reducer of interfacial stress between the bitumen and water and prevents their breakage during normal condition of storage. These types of emulsions carry positive charges and after getting in contact with negatively charged aggregates dispose bitumen particles on the aggregates while the water gets evaporated. Available in three types: RS (Rapid Setting),MS ( Medium Setting) and SS (Slow Setting).As you know that Cationic Bitumen Emulsion has some plus points like it helps faster execution of work because of its ready-to-use nature, safe for handling, economical , useable in rainy season and above all it is environ friendly.
