DVPL are manufacturer & supplier of Zero Velocity Valve for stopping reverse flow in case of failure of pumps. The valve consists of a spring loaded closing disc which is mounted on a central shaft and supported by guide rods. Valve is provided with a bye pass arrangement. Valves are generally supplied with flanged but can also be barrel ends, if so desired.The springs are designed in such a manner that the valve remains full open when 25% of designed velocity is achieved. In case of closure of pump, disc starts closing in relation to decrease of velocity and fully closes when velocity drops near to zero. Thus upstream water column is prevented from creating water hammer wave. Bye pass arrangement keeps pressure balance on both sides of disc. It also prevents creation of vacuum in downstream side.

Y-type Globe Valves design, is an alternative for the high pressure drop, inherent in Globe valves. Seat and stem are angled at approximately 45 degrees, what gives a straighter flowpath at full opening and offer the least resistance to flow. They can be cracked open for long periods without severe erosion. They are extensively used for throttling during seasonal or startup operations. They can be rod through to remove debris when used in drain lines that are normally closed

DVPL Slanted seat check valves are so designed that the seating plane makes an angle with the vertical plane to reduce the swing angle and closing time. These check valves can be used in all non return applications. Better closing characteristics due to the smaller swing angle of the disc. Closing time is reduced compared to the other check valve types.

Tilting Disc Check Valve is the most versatile and reliable check valve DVPL Company has to offer. This valve offers significant energy and cost savings over the life of the valve due to its large flow area and low head loss characteristics. Short disc travel from full open to full close provides the ability to close very rapidly or very slowly to avoid contributing to slamming and surges. The tilting disc check valve is also offered with an upper hydraulic dash-pot to aid in disc closure in multiple pump systems even after a power failure. We continue to expand our product offering to those customers who require specialty valves for applications where opening and closing times are critical to control flow reversal and reduce water hammer.  

T-type Globe Valve design is the most common body type, with a Z-shaped diaphragm. The horizontal setting of the seat allows the stem and disk to travel perpendicular to the horizontal line. This design has the lowest coefficient of flow and higher pressure drop. They are used in severe throttling services, such as in bypass lines around a control valve. Tee-pattern Globe valves may also be used in applications where pressure drop is not a concern and throttling is required.

2800mm HOPD* Butterfly Valves DVPL has successfully designed, manufactured, tested and offered to TPIA as per AWWA C516-10 on 10th March 2017.
