The orifice plate is a separate commodity and isn’t sold as the part of flange assembly. Every flange is offered with a pair of pressure taps for measuring the pressure drop in flow through the orifice plate. These taps have been precisely located with respect to orifice plate.

Constant spring support is specifically used to accommodate constant effort load, excessive movement of the pipeline due to high temperature and pressure of thermal movement.
