I am really happy to share that I have grown new variety of turmeric IISR-Pragati ( ACC-48 ) released by IISR Calicut in my farm in organic way..@ Sonda , Sirsi Uttar Kannada District Karnataka This is a natural variety (Not hybrid) which has many good qualities like high yield, High curcumin and oleoresin, root-knot nematode resistant, high export quality, etc. This is going to be a promising variety in the future and is appreciated by head of Sirsi horticulture research and development center-Karnataka during his field visit.
