Nucleonix Modular Instrumentation Bin IB401 had been designed to provide mechanical and electrical facilities to accommodate various nuclear instrument modules. Upto 12 single width modules or combination of multiple width modules can be accommodated. The module guiding channels made up of plated steel rods facilitate easy sliding-in and positioning of modules at the same time, adding strength to the bin. The power ON-OFF switch, indicating lamp & monitoring points are all mounted on a thin vertical control panel conveniently located on right extreme of the bin. Also the power supply is conservatively rated to power any combination of modules that the bin will physically accommodate. IB401 modular system Bin provides mounting space for twelve standard module width of the 8 ¾ inches high type. The twelve corresponding module connectors are provided with necessary wiring for distribution of the all the standard power supply voltages. A small control panel not occupying any of the available module space is located at the right side of the bin, providing control switches, test points and indicator lamps for power supply.

The annealing cycle (at 780-820 C) improperly controlled to get a uniform and best annealing result. Testing : Since the CRGO electrical properties of cores are very critical, every core is tested on a specially designed test bench. The ampere-turns (magnetization current) are measured on every core to ensure that they are within the specified limits. Painting : After testing, the cores are painted with paint.
