mixing vessels is a machine container that is used to blend various components together. double cone blender (pbxdcb) is ideal for mixing of powders and homogenous lubrication of granules. Cones are manufactured out of ss 316 quality sheet. To enhance the missing, paddle blades are provided on central shaft. Drive motor is connected to a gear box on ss rigid stand. Charging height varies as per the capacities. Suitable opening for charging with ss cover and lock nuts, discharge port is fitted with mucon/butterfly valve which helps to unload powder faster. Pipe guards provided with limit switch interlocking to motor, which ensures safe operation for higher capacities. Two-thirds of the volume of the cone blender is filled to ensure proper mixing.

Plastic Dust Cover: The material under mixing process can be apparently seen from the Plastic Dust Cover of the container at all times and it, being hinged and holding allows solution to be added through without difficulty while the mixer is in motion. Safety: The plastic dust cover is so interlocked that on opening the cover the motor automatically stops. The interlocking system is given to avoid the accident as the machine will not start unless and until container is totally closed. This is of utmost importance in a machine like this which has revolving blades. Tilting Device The Tilting Device is provided to ease the unloading of the material. Tilting is affected by means of a hand wheel on the body, the powder or granules being tipped into a container which can be placed at ease. Sealing Arrangement: Specially designed self-adjusting sealing arrangement of unique design is provided to ensure that no black particle enters into the Mixing drum. However, little powder from inside may come out some time after a long use which suggests cleaning and readjusting of pressure springs. Lubrication: Provision is made for lubricating all moving parts and specially designed to prevent oil coming in contact with the powder.

The double cone blender consists of two cone shaped sections with 45º slopes. The cone sections are welded at their wide ends to a centre band. The blender is mounted between two trunnions that permits the unit to tumble end over end. In operation, material is loaded to a fill level of 50 to 60 % of the blender’s capacity.   The blender tumbles and the material in the vessel spreads out. The transition area at the band between the cones prevents the material from sliding along the inner wall and instead causes the material to fold over itself. This provides gentle mixing with only very slight shear.   The blender is ideal for soft powders of granules that degrade by attrition. The smooth transition area in the vessel also simplifies cleaning because there are no areas to trap particles and cross-contaminate batches. Contra rotary baffles with mechanical seals at both ends can be provided for critical mixing applications.   SALIENT FEATURES  he conical shape at both ends enables uniform mixing and easy discharge.
