These Strip Heaters are made up of high quality Nichrome ribbon wire that is insulated in fluted refractory. Specially selected Mica strip providing the heat distribution for maximum heater life. Mica of proper thickness is used to insulate the windings, providing excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. The elements are encased in specially treated rust- resistant steel / stainless steel casing to provide physical strength and good thermal conductivity for sheath temperature upto 3000 C Type 304 Stainless Steel Sheath provides resistance to high temperature and corrosion, dependable at sheath temperatures of up to 5500 C .

MATRUSREE’s strip heaters are constructed of specially selected high quality materials, beginning with the high temperature alloy resistance wire uniformly coiled and spaced over the width of the heated length of the strip heater. This controlled coil process and replacement assures uniform heat distribution over the entire active surface of the heater. Special care is taken to secure the stud-type terminal to the high-temperature alloy resistance contact.The coiled resistance wire is embedded in a special refractory Material that possesses excellent heat transfer characteristics and superior insulation properties. The entire heater assembly is encased in either stainless or chrome steel sheath and is compressed under high pressure. The completed assembly is heated under controlled conditions to bake and semi vitrify the refractory for a rigid, vibration resistant, heavy-duty heating unit.
