In Solar power water pumping systems, the Pump(Surface/Submersible) is powered directly by solar photo-voltaic system for lifting water from an open well, reservoir or tube well for irrigation or drinking water for both human and livestock. These systems require a shadow-free area for installationof Solar Panels, and closed and secured area for a pump controller unit(AC / DC) which consists of a Inverter and VFD connects solar panels and pump. These pumps can lift water from depths ranging between 10 - 90m and discharge capacities range between 25,000 and 1,45,000 litres per day. Varshini power can power any existing or new pumps either submersible or mono block of any capacity. The operation of these solar powered pumps is more economical mainly due to the lower operation and maintenance costs and has less environmental impact than pumps powered by an internal combustion engine (ICE). These Solar pumps are useful where grid electricity is unavailable and for new installations due to the cost of getting new electricity is almost equal to the cost of a solar water pump.

A flat plate collector,the most common type, is an insulated, weather-proof box containing a dark absorbed plate under one or more transparent or translucent covers. Each tube consists of a glass outer tube and an inner tube or absorbed covered with a selective coating that absorbs solar thermal energy but inhibits radiative heat loss.
