Surgical Tape consists of nonwoven fabric, spread with pressure sensitive self adhesive mass, with mircropores to enable skin to breathe. The adhesive is hypoallergenic.Microporous nature of the nonwoven material and the adhesive provide excellent permeability to air and moisture, Removal is less painful compared to the conventional zinc oxide plaster, The adhesive mass does not contain natural rubber. It is hypoallergenic.

Plaster of Paris Bandage consists of a leno wave bleached cotton gauze impregnated evenly with Calcium Sulphate which has been dehydrated so that it consists substantially of the hemihydrates, to which adhesives and setting-time modifiers may have been added. It is reasonably free from loose power. Bandage lees than 5 meters long have no joins; joins in longer bandages are made using a suitable adhesive and not by sewing.

Permeable Plastic Surgical Synthetic Adhesive Tape Consists of an extensible perforated plastic film, spread evenly with a polymeric adhesive mass which does not offset when the tape is unrolled. The perforations are evenly distributed. The tape is permeable to water vapour and air. Transparent –Facilitates easy monitoring of skin under the tape.

Consists of soft Non woven fabric with excellent absorption properties. It is cut in uniform width & rolled. It is used in providing cushion (liner) under the Synthetic Cast or Plaster of Paris Bandage. High water holding capacity fibres absorbs sweat & exudation effectively, Soft fibres add comfort to accidental portions.

It consists of characteristics fabric of plain weave in which warp threads are two fold cotton threads, crepe twisted and weft threads are of cottonviscoseboth mixed. The warp threads are arranged two threads S twist and two threads Z twist repeated. It is one continuous length without joints and has fast edges. Cotton Crepe Bandage is used in the treatment of sprains, and strains and in other conditions in which light support is required. It may be used for this purpose in conjunction with other surgical appliances. It is also used for correctional purpose. It has good extensibility and after stretching it, the regain length is appreciably less, Much of the elasticity of the bandage is lost during use, but it can largely restored by washing the bandage in warm soap water.
