Pasting Gum Powder: Shalom Sales manufactures pasting gum powder in both hot and cold process. Our pasting gum manufacturing plant in Indore has a capacity of more than 250 tons monthly production. Pasting Gum is manufactured from maize starch and also from tapioca starch based on the specifications and requirement of our customers.   Cold Pasting Gum Process: Generally, ratio of Pasting Gum is 1:4 to 1:6 depending upon the requirement of the customer. Based on the ratio of the gum, water is taken into the gum tank and then powder is added under continuous stirring. Once the powder is completely mixed, caustic soda solution is added into the gum tank solution and allow it to mix properly for 20 minutes. After proper stirring color of the gum changes and it gains viscosity of 30-60 seconds, depending upon the customers’ requirements.   Hot Pasting Gum Process: In hot process the gum powder needs to be cooked with recommended water ratio at a temperature of 80-to-90-degree Celsius for 30 mins. Hot process pasting gum gives best results during rainy and winter seasons.   Advantages: Ready to use. Excellent adhesive properties as required in corrugated box industry.
