Motor is connected in delta from the start. Auto transformer provides voltage to the motor at start. Appropriate lower voltage tapping –customized as per the application – is provided to the motor. After the motor has attained significant torque changeover from auto transformer to on line takes place. The changeover is “closed transition” i.e. During changeover the auto transformer acts as a choke supplying voltage to motor – hence smooth or stepless or soft starting takes place. The motor then runs on line current. The transformer is isolated from both the ends to protect the contactors. Adjustable high torque: a high torque (up to 64%) possible and can be customized by voltage tapings. No power quality issues: all standards electrical components ensure that there are no harmonics or other power quality issues. Transient elimination: korndorfer closed transition technology ensures that transients are eliminated. Motor protection: motor is connected in delta at the time of starting to avoid high inrush current in the motor winding thus providing lesser heat generation. We are offering power transformer, distribution transformer. Product ranges from 16 kva to 2000 kva up to 33 kv. Syemco transformer are designed and tested as per is: 2026, bs -171, iec -76 & iec- 126. Transformer will be connected as per vector group reference dyn 11. Other vector groups can be offered as per specific requirements. H.v bare bushing or cable box, l.v. bare bushing or cable box disconnecting. Transformers are designed for a maximum temperature rise of 40500 c of oil winding. Lower temperature rise can be offered on request. The core is constructed from low loss, cold rolled, grain oriented, annealed laminations of electrical sheet conforming to the latest international standards. Special frame is built in-house from clamping the core to reduce the magnetic noise as well as making the whole structure rigid and robust. Coils are wound with electrolytic high conductivity paper covered of synthetic enameled copper conductors. Cooling ducts are provided to keep the hot spot temperature as low as possible. Coils are dried in electric ovens. Rigid connection support and coil clamping is provided to ensure high short circuit strength. Precompressed board parmali board and japneese insulation paper of best quality is used. oil is tested for resistivity , dielectric and acidic character conforming to is-335. Before topping up oil is filtered thoroughly. The tanks are made of m.s. Steel platessheets with adequate bracing & stiffness. Tanks are pressure tested to withstand any type of inside or outside pressure, all the external surface are given a primary coat of zinc chromate, red oxide and two finishing coats of grey paint. The inner surfaces are given a coat of heat and oil resisting paint. All syemco transformers undergo rigorous quality control check and are routine tested as per is in our fully equipped laboratory.
