Disturbance and faults occur five to ten times more often in open wires lines than in AB Cable lines. There is no risk in touching the live cable and the insulation reduces the number of short circuits and over-voltage faults in overhead cables during thunderstorms. LT-XLPE Cables have a higher emergency overload capacity 120C. Max. temperature limit under short circuit conditions for LT-XLPE Cables is 250C. Hence these have higher short circuit rating. Insulation resistance of LT-XLPE Cable is excellent & superior to identical PVC Cables. LT-XLPE Cables have high corrosion resistance in polluted atmosphere. LT-XLPE Cables have better properties of resistance to chemical and corrosive gases. LT-XLPE Cables have low installation cost because of light weight, dimensions and are far more flexible. They Work under extreme stress and water submersion conditions and perform consistently over long periods of time Comflex 3 Core Flat Cables are manufactured keeping in mind the severe and difficult conditions they are required to operate. The individual Flexible conductors are made from electrolytic grade bright copper. The wires are drawn, annealed and bunched properly to ensure long life. Each of these three flexible copper conductors is insulated with a specially formulated PVC compound and the cores are laid up in Flat Parallel position. The outer sheath of the cables is made from a 3 Core Submersible Flat Cable in Voltage Grade 1100 V. The PVC insulated and sheathed 3 core flat cables are used for giving electrical connection to the submersible pump motors.
