You may also add some lemon juice to this paste for better results. 3. Let the paste rest for about 30-45 minutes (if your ambience is hot) and 60-90 minutes (if it is cold). 4. Apply this paste evenly on every strand ofhair with the help of a brush and gloved hands, covering the roots to the hair tip. 5. Leave it on for 2-3 hours for complete drying. 6. Rinse your hair throughly with lukewarm water, making sure the colour has completely rinsed out and the water runs clear. 7. Try to avoid shampooing or styling products for the next 24 to 48 hours so that the colour can develop and set. 8. For improved results repeat the process once in every 2-3 weeks 9. Never expect magical colours from your herbal hair dye similar to chemical hair dyes!
