Quartz Powder is made up of a lattice of silica (SiO2) tetrahedral. It is the 2nd most common mineral in the world. It’s very hard rock having hardness around 7 on the Mohs scale and its density is 2.65 g/cm3.Quartz is a common constituent of granite, sand stone, lime stone and many igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
