    DESCRIPTION : SEFCOTE DGL (AS) IS A GRAPHITE BASED, NON-REFLECTIVE, HEAT CONDUCTING COATING SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO COAT ALUMINIUM T-INGOTS OR SOWS.   TO BE USED ON: SEFCOTE DGL AS IS APPLIED TO THE SURFACE OF ALUMINIUM PRIOIR TO MELTING, TYPICALLY IN A DRY HEARTH FURNACE. PACKING : 20 KILOGRAMS BUCKET (CUSTOMISED PACKING ALSO AVAILABLE) PHYSICAL FORM : SEMI-COLLOIDAL PASTE CONSUMPTION : AS PER REQUIREMENT.IT CAN BE FURTHER DILUTED USING DISTILLED WATER. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE : STIR THE COATING WELL BEFORE USING. APPLY IT EITHER USING PAINT BRUSH OR SPRAY GUN OR AUTOMATED SPRAYER (ONLY AFTER DILUTING IT TO REQUIRED CONCENTERATION)    Application is best if applied to all sides of the material that are exposed to the furnace’s radiant heat. The coating is typically applied to the top and sides of a sow or Tbar.   BENEFITS : SEFCOTE DGL (AS) reduces the reflectivity of the aluminium, thereby increasing the absorption of radiant heat into the aluminium. Non-coated aluminium naturally reflects heat from its bright surface, taking longer TIME to melt than aluminium coated with SEFCOTE DGL (AS). Time is almost reduced to half as compared to non-coated Aluminium Melting in Hearth Furnace. Decreasing melt time has many advantages, including increased productivity and decreased energy usage.
