The base plate is made right angle to the spindle and machine maintains its rigidity even when largest radius is applied to drilling operations.

Multi spindle drilling machine or SPMs are among the special purpose applications available with us. Multi spindle is used where we need to drill simultaneous holes on a job on a flat surface such that the centre of the holes together form a PCD or pitch circle diameter. However we provide a fixed centre solution for a given number of holes to be drilled over a PCD. Also the minimum distance between two holes has to be above a specified limit. Multi spindle attachments can also be fixed over auto feed, radial, pillar or bench type of machines as per the job demands and production quantity. Customized solutions are available for given requirements of job and various tooled up solutions can also be provided to the clients depending on their needs and budget constraints. Multi spindle jobs are found usually in a production scenario where large numbers of holes occur over a small area such as fastenings, flanges, couplings, etc. These jobs and applications consume more time as drilling number of holes varies considerably than using a single tool engaging with the work-piece.

In drilling cum tapping machine tapping or threading operation is done along with drilling. This tap drill machine is most suitable in areas where operator needs to perform drilling and tapping operations without opening the job such as using a quick change chuck. The tapping attachment of the machine tap is fitted on the motor plate that is fixed on the machine body. The tap when completes the desired depth is reversed automatically by the limit switch. The electrical panel on the electrical tapping machine has a toggle switch with options of limit control and foot control. When the universal tapping machine does tapping for a blind hole, then move the toggle switch upwards to ‘limit control’ and set the depth with two small stoppers fitted on the main rod. For the semi automatic tapping machine to tap a through hole, then move the toggle switch to ‘foot control’ option and complete the tapping using the foot switch. Here the stoppers and limit switch is not used. The tapping operation on these vertical tapping machines starts by engaging the tap to the hole and the tapping tool itself takes its own movement to complete the depth of thread. So no effort is needed during the tapping cycle. In case of blind holes tolerance is required between bottom surface and tap depth. The tap tool is held in tap sleeve which fits in the spindle Morse taper of these machine taps. The drilling capacity of this sensitive drilling machine is 13mm in steel with spindle stroke of 87mm. The column is 625mm in length and diameter 47mm. Bench drilling machine or small mini drill machine provides table working surface as 200mm round and base working surface of 175×175 mm. The distance from column to centre of spindle is 150mm.
