Avoid during early pregnancy. Action. - analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, expectorant, hepatic, mental stimulant, nerve tonic. Healing effects:- Peppermint is good for digective system, easing nausea, stomch cramps, and diarrhoea, Its also relieves period pain and headaches, As an exception to the genral rule, the oil can be taken internally -- but only a couple of drops, either on sugar or in cup of warms water .
