    fanning tea

    90 Per 100 Gram

Fannings are grainy particles of tea leaves ( 1- 1.5mm) with coarse texture that are sorted out during manufacture of high grade teas and used in tea bags.  Fannings with extremely particles are called dusts. Popular grades of Fanning tea are – Golden Orange Fannings (GOF), Flowery Orange Fannings (FOF), Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings (BOPF ) and Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings (FBOPF). Fanning teas are used in tea stalls in India because they produce strong flavour. Brewing Method Fannings tea tips are used in tea bags and considered perfect for  all those who love quick and brisk infusion. Most fanning tea bags produce strong flavour and can be sweetened with sugar as per the taste. Fanning tea bags  are boiled with water that is brought to rolling boil. Begin with 1 tsp to 6-8Oz water (5g to 177-237ml) of water and boil for 3-5 minutes at 205°F to 212°F (96°C to 100°C). Storing Tea Fannings tea bags should be stored in an airtight container to maintain volatile oils, which may evaporate when exposed to sunlight or air. Like all other teas, keep away fannings from flavouring agents and spices. Do not refrigerate tea and avoid storing it in paper and plastic containers. Use tea within 1-2 years of purchase. Avoid buying large quantities of fanning as they lose their flavour and qualities over the time.
