With  its  help   airlines can  easily verify  on  the  spot  whether  the    fuel ( ATF ) is fully dry or not ( because fuel   must be free of  any un-dissolved quantity of water ). Even minute  quantity of  un-dissolved  water in  fuel  may cause air crash at high altitude  where  temperature  is  very  low.
