<p>Alkali Refined Linseed Oil, commonly called "ARLO" for short, has been a classic ingredient in inks for centuries. Extracted from the seed of the flax plant, this oil is filtered and then &ldquo;washed&rdquo; with alkaline water to remove acid impurities. The resulting product is golden, rich &amp; sweet-smelling oil that is composed primarily of linolenic acid. Alkali Refined Linseed Oil is demanded for furniture finish, oil paints, printing inks &amp; wood floors .<br />It is extensively used for the production of oil modified polyester resins (i.e. alkyd resins), stand oils, printing varnishes, maleate and urethane oils in the synthetic varnish-paints-and printing colour industry.
