The Rail Profile Grinder is a versatile and easy to operate machine. The trimmed joint can be ground easily within the specified tolerances in less than 15 minutes. The machine is fitted with frictionless rollers that hold it against the rail head.

This system is designed for pre-heating the rail ends for welding by the alumino-thermic process. The joint is preheated for a moderately low period thereby achieving better metallurgical characteristics by minimizing the width of the heat affected zone.
