MRPL manufactures varieties of Refractories shapes which are difficult and/or impossible to make through Pressing route. Products of these kinds of ranges are of complex and complicated shapes embedded with Metal Anchors or Frames. MRPL has its own Central Workshop for Mould making (both Metallic and Wooden Patterns) for fabrication of Precast Items with assured product qualities in terms of shapes, sizes, dimensional accuracy and surface finish. PCPF shapes of very big sizes like Ladle Cover for VAD; Top Blocks for ABF; Ceramic Anchor embedded Precast Element for Roof of Reheating Furnace etc. are casted in the designated area with all necessary arrangement for proper handling of heavy items mechanically. Quality and temperature of Water, required for casting, are monitored and maintained based on the ambient conditions to minimize the seasonal effects. These materials are fired in specially designed Kiln as per the process requirement and quality of the products. The most important requirement of Precast shapes is its quality; which should be almost same with rest of the refractory structures.

MRPL manufactures entire ranges of Fire Clay & High Alumina Bricks for various industrial usages in high temperature applications. Product basket contains Bricks having Al2O3 content as low as 30% to as high as 99% with unique infrastructural facilities. Depending upon the intrinsic features, Alumina Bricks are used for the lining of varieties of equipment like Blast Furnace; Hot Blast Stoves; Cement Kilns; Glass Tank Furnace; Pot Furnace; Anode Baking Furnace; Petro-chemicals; Fertilizers; Boilers; Coke Ovens; Hot Metal Ladles etc. Input Raw Materials for Bricks production are sourced from renowned RM Suppliers (both Imported and Domestic); own Captive Mines; nearby Mines with long term agreement for uninterrupted supply of consistent quality of RMs. With strong back up from the Technical Team; MRPL supplies number of customized products as well as cost-effective products and solutions to varieties of customers and/or end users. A semi-automatic production line for Bricks has been commissioned very recently having batching circuits, high intensity inclined Mixer, semi-automatic Press and long high temperature Tunnel Kiln.
