ferrosafe uk-17 corrosion inhibiting admixture for concrete   product description:   ferrosafe uk-17 is liquid admixture used for corrosion protection of reinforcing steel used in concrete. the uni molecular layer formed by ferrosafe uk – 17 protects rcc steel from chloride and other corrosive ions in concrete.   application: ferrosafe uk-17 is suitable for concrete structures that are going to expose to corrosion causing environments like… bridges roads pipes tunnels retaining walls building balconies etc.   storage: protect from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5® to 35® c shelf life one year   advantages: • better corrosion resistance to chloride ions • displays both anodic and cathodic protection of rcc steel • good dispersion of it ensures complete coverage inside concrete • combination of organic and inorganic inhibitors • nitrite and chromate free.   direction for use:  ferrosafe uk-17 being liquid admixture should be added to calculated batch water while mixing with cement or can be added directly in concrete mixer it can be added to transit mixer just before discharging the concrete, do confirm to mix the concrete wellwith ferrosafe uk-17 for 3 minutes. at 11-13 rpm speed. ferrosafe uk-17 can be combined with boxer top mix din -125 superplaticizer but trials tests are always recommended   dose: 3 – 4 % by weight of cement. packing: 200 kg hdpe drums.   technical details: form: liquid. color: light green liquid. sp.gravity: 1.04 ± 0.01 gm/cm³ ph value: 10 ±1   handling precautions: use rubber hand gloves, mask while handling. if it comes in contact with skin, eyes wash with plenty of water, soap do not dispose in water / soil.   note: this information, given in good faith, is based on results gained from experience ant test however; all recommendations or suggestions are made without guarantee since the condition of use is beyond our control.
