Aluminium Stranded Conductors (ASC) better known as All Aluminium Conductors (AAC) are manufactured from electrolytically refined (E.C.Grade) aluminium, containing a minimum of 99.5% aluminium by weight. The aluminium used has a minium conductivity of 61%. AAC conductors are used mainly in urban areas where the spacing between supports is small and thereby the supports are relatively closer to each other.   All Aluminum Conductors are made up of one or more strands of aluminum wire depending on the required current carrying capacity and used specially as bus conductors at sub-stations.
