The Apron Feeder operates on principle of gravity discharge. Aprons consist of endless pivoted steel humped plates, attached to side bar chains and runs on rollers on both sides. Drive is through shaft mounted geared motor with either constant or variable speed. Feeder is totally enclosed and provided with connection for dust extraction.   Application Used to extract bulk solids from bins, convey over short distance and feed to downstream process. It can be used on bulk solids with a particle size of up to 100 mm and temperatures of up to 800 Degree C.
